Justin Timberlake Cancels Final Show of U.S. Tour Last Minute: ‘I’m Heartbroken’

Justin Timberlake Forced to Cancel Final U.S. Show of His World Tour Due to Illness
Justin Timberlake has been forced to cancel his last remaining U.S. show of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour just hours before he was due to perform. The singer, known for hits like "Mirrors" and "SexyBack," announced the cancellation via his Instagram on Thursday, February 27. He was scheduled to take the stage in Columbus, Ohio, for the final North American leg of his tour.
Timely Announcement and Apology
In his message, Timberlake expressed his disappointment and apologized to his fans. "You guys. I’m heartbroken. I have to cancel the show tonight," he wrote. He revealed that he went into soundcheck battling the flu, but his condition worsened, forcing him to call off the concert. Timberlake also reassured fans that they would receive refunds for their tickets, acknowledging the hard work of his team and the disappointment caused.
Fans’ Mixed Reactions
While fans were understandably dismayed by the news, many showed understanding and support. They flooded the comments section with messages of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of Timberlake’s health. "Take care of yourself Justin, I know you are heartbroken the tour ended this way. We love you so much, never forget that," one fan wrote. Others echoed similar sentiments, urging him to prioritize his well-being.
Previous Postponement Due to Health Issues
This was not the first time Timberlake had to reschedule a show due to health concerns. The Columbus concert had been previously postponed from its original date in October 2024 when Timberlake was diagnosed with bronchitis and laryngitis. At the time, he had apologized and promised to make it up to his fans, a commitment that was unfortunately derailed by his recent flu.
Support from His Wife, Jessica Biel
Earlier in the day, Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, had shared an Instagram post paying tribute to her husband. "There’s truly nothing this man can’t do," she wrote, expressing pride and support as he prepared for the final show. Her post highlighted the couple’s strong bond and her admiration for his dedication to his craft.
Future Performances in South America
Despite the setback in the U.S., Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour is set to continue in South America later this month. Argentina is the next scheduled stop, and fans there are eagerly looking forward to experiencing the tour. While the sudden cancellation in Columbus was a disappointing end to the North American leg, Timberlake’s resilience and commitment to his fans suggest that the tour will proceed with the same energy and passion in its next phase.
