Mother in Turbulent Relationship Killed in Front of 5-Year-Old Weeks After Birth of Fourth Child

A mother of four has tragically lost her life just weeks after welcoming her newborn, in a case that has shocked the local community.

Lauren Saldana, 38, was allegedly killed by her ex-boyfriend, Roman Romanovskiy, at his home in South Brunswick, New Jersey.

Authorities discovered Lauren’s body on January 9, with Romanovskiy, 41, present at the scene.

He has since been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and two counts of child endangerment.

He is currently being held at Middlesex County Jail without bail as investigations continue.

While police have not yet disclosed the exact cause of Lauren’s death, the news has sparked an outpouring of grief and support.

In response to the tragedy, the family has launched a fundraiser to cover funeral expenses, provide for Lauren’s children, and assist with legal custody proceedings.

Any remaining funds will be placed into trusts for the children, giving them some financial security in the years ahead.

The fundraiser features a heartfelt message that paints a vivid picture of the loss felt by Lauren’s loved ones: “Her murder has left a hole in all of our hearts.

She leaves behind four beautiful children who now face a future without their mother.”

It goes on to highlight the unbearable pain her family is grappling with, especially her young son who witnessed the violence.

“He is now faced with trauma no child should ever have to endure.

His sister is fighting to gain custody of him to ensure he has the stability, care, and love he needs to begin healing.”

“She did not deserve for her life to be taken in such a heinous and disgusting way,” the statement reads, urging the community to support the children she leaves behind.
