A British football coach working overseas has sustained serious injuries after being involved in a motorbike crash that left him hospitalised in intensive care.
The man, identified only as Ollie, was reportedly riding his motorbike through the Fengshan District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, when the incident occurred just after 9am on March 19.

Surveillance footage from a nearby building captured the distressing moment.
In the clip, Ollie can be seen riding alongside a large truck before abruptly vanishing from the frame.
Moments later, his body reappears, visibly skidding across a grassy embankment, indicating the severity of the impact and the likelihood he had been knocked from his vehicle.
At least two trucks were reportedly travelling in close proximity to him at the time.
One of the drivers is said to have stopped immediately to check on him, while emergency services were called to the scene shortly after.

Investigators are looking not only at the nearby CCTV but are also hoping to retrieve any dashcam recordings from vehicles that were near Ollie at the time of the accident.
Originally from the UK, Ollie currently works as a football coach with the La Liga Football School in Taiwan.
The school, which is based in Kaohsiung, has acknowledged the incident and stated that Ollie will be stepping away from his coaching duties while he recovers from his injuries.
