Thrill-seekers found themselves in a precarious situation when a rollercoaster broke down, leaving them stranded high above ground and forced to evacuate along a narrow walkway next to the ride’s track.
Footage captures over 20 riders, including young children, cautiously making their way along the slim pathway at a considerable height.
The cameraperson can be heard noting the tension, describing it as a “nervous” and “unique experience.” Meanwhile, the rollercoaster train sits immobilized at the peak of the track.

Some of the stranded visitors reportedly experienced panic attacks due to the dizzying height. The ride malfunctioned following a power outage at the Parque del Café amusement park in Montenegro, Colombia, on Sunday, October 20.
A park representative explained that although the ride is equipped with a backup power source, they opted not to activate it, as the uphill position of the stalled train made it safer to avoid the risk of it rolling backwards.
They also emphasized that the rides undergo regular safety inspections, noting that the park has not encountered a serious emergency in over two decades of operation. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
However, another tragic incident unfolded that same day at a different amusement park in Mexico.
A young man named Andrés died after being ejected from a ride called the “Crazy Cups” at the Iztapalapa Fair in Mexico City.
Local reports indicate that the speed of the ride caused Andrés to be thrown from his seat, resulting in severe injuries upon impact.

He was transported to Santa Rosa Hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival. Authorities are investigating the circumstances, including whether he had been properly secured in the ride.
The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office has confirmed that an inquiry into the incident is underway.
