A dramatic incident in Brazil saw a man abandon his girlfriend during a botched motorbike theft, leaving her at the mercy of their victims after her getaway bike failed to start.
CCTV footage captured the chaotic sequence, beginning with the pair arriving on an empty road in broad daylight.
The man dismounted their motorbike and approached another bike parked on the pavement while his girlfriend shifted from the pillion to the driver’s seat of their vehicle.

With a tool resembling an Allen key, the helmeted thief manipulated the bike’s frame, apparently freeing the front wheel.
Moments later, he mounted the stolen bike, started it, and sped off.
As he rode away, he glanced over his shoulder at his partner, who was frantically trying to start their getaway bike.
Despite her repeated attempts to kickstart the engine, it refused to cooperate. Rather than offering her any assistance, the man disappeared into the distance.
The situation escalated when two men, seemingly the bike’s owner and a companion, rushed onto the street.
As the woman continued her futile attempts to start the bike, she eventually dismounted to try from the roadside.
The two men reached her, and one of them grabbed her by the neck, forcefully leading her away.
The footage suggests she was taken into a nearby home, though the exact events inside remain unclear.
The unusual chain of events took place on Friday, December 6, in Foz do Iguaçu, a city near Brazil’s border with Paraguay and Argentina.
Local police confirmed the following day that no official complaints about the theft or the apparent vigilante action had been filed.
Authorities are now working to identify the individuals involved, but no arrests had been made as of Saturday, according to reports by vknews24.
