A tourist was struck in the face by a speeding drone in a shocking incident at a popular destination.
The woman, identified as Yuan, was visiting the picturesque Haixi Prefecture in Qinghai, China, with her boyfriend when the mishap occurred.
The couple had been filming a video together when the drone suddenly hurtled toward her, hitting her directly in the face.

The dramatic moment was captured on video, showing the immediate aftermath of the collision.
Yuan later revealed that the impact left her with a faint red mark on her face and cuts on her collarbone.
She credited her hat and sunglasses for protecting her from more severe injuries.
Despite the scare, her wounds were relatively minor.
Following the incident, Yuan managed to track down the individual operating the drone at the time of the accident.
She used the opportunity to remind the person of the importance of handling drones responsibly and urged others to take similar precautions.
Yuan also admitted that she has since developed a fear of the distinctive whirring noise drones make, a sound now associated with the frightening encounter.
