She exited the vehicle to ring the building’s buzzer, unaware of the danger approaching.
As she reached the entrance, a hooded suspect followed, drew a gun, and ordered her to remove the children from the car before seizing the driver’s seat.
Shocked and frightened, the woman’s three children were seen scrambling down the pavement to safety, their panic captured by bystanders.
Despite the harrowing situation, the mother ensured her children’s friend made it to the entrance before the gunman sped off in her car.
The victim’s husband later recounted the ordeal, explaining that his wife was on her way to a birthday party with their children after the church service.
“Everyone was okay, thank God,” he said, before adding, “The children saw everything; they are traumatised by it.”
Police launched an immediate search of the area following the robbery but have yet to locate the stolen vehicle or apprehend the suspects.
Investigators are continuing their efforts to recover the car and bring those responsible to justice.
