The commotion unfolded around 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, during Buen Fin, Mexico’s equivalent of Black Friday.
The shopping frenzy, which began on November 15 and runs until November 18, is known for steep discounts that draw crowds across the country.
According to reports by vknews24, over 50 shoppers were involved in the fight, as demand for the limited stock of discounted TVs far exceeded supply.
Walmart staff attempted to regain control of the situation but were ultimately overwhelmed, prompting them to call local authorities for assistance.
