In a bold turn of events, a shop employee managed to drive off a would-be thief brandishing a knife by pulling out an even larger blade, creating a scene that seemed straight out of the iconic “Crocodile Dundee” movie moment: “That’s not a knife, that’s a knife!”
Surveillance footage captured the dramatic encounter. The video shows a man entering the store with his face partially obscured by a scarf, making his way toward the counter.

He then pulls out a small knife from his waistband, seemingly intending to threaten the worker stationed behind the counter.
As he begins his approach, however, he’s suddenly distracted by someone stepping up from the side.
Realizing he’s outmatched, the would-be thief hurriedly tucks his own weapon back into his pants and leaves the shop.
It quickly becomes clear why he decided to back down: a young woman, wielding a significantly larger knife, walks into the frame.
She flashes a grin at her coworker, who had just been on the receiving end of the thief’s threat, confidently holding the oversized blade in hand.
The attempted robbery unfolded in the city of Cipolletti in central Argentina on October 31, as reported by the outlet VKNews24.
Locals reacted with praise and humor to the clip once it circulated online. One viewer called her a “brave girl,”
while another jokingly said, “I’d take her home to meet my mum.”
Another commenter quipped, “No doubt the criminal will accuse the girl of violating his human rights and demand compensation.”
Although the shop employees opted not to file an official report, local authorities have confirmed that they’re aware of the viral footage and are conducting further investigations.
