Influencer, 24, Dies After Falling from Moving Car

A 24-year-old influencer, Amanda dos Santos Barbosa, tragically lost her life in a horrifying traffic accident in João Pessoa, northern Brazil, after falling from the roof of a moving car.

Disturbing footage from the scene shows Amanda sliding off the vehicle and landing on the road, where she was struck by another car.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Monday, November 18, in the Bancários neighborhood, a bustling area of the city near Recife.

Amanda, who had attended a party earlier that night, was filming videos and taking photos for her social media accounts alongside three friends.

The incident unfolded after she climbed onto the car’s roof with her companions.

The chaotic scene on the road was caught on surveillance cameras from nearby establishments.

As vehicles around the area braked to avoid hitting her, one car turned onto the road and struck Amanda as she lay on the ground.

She succumbed to her severe injuries at the scene, leaving a community in shock and raising questions about the events leading to the accident.

The local Civil Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy.

Authorities have already summoned Amanda’s friends, who were present at the time, to provide their accounts of what happened.

Those inside the vehicle were taken to the police station for questioning shortly after the accident.

Getúlio Machado, the lead investigator, confirmed that evidence collection is underway.

Surveillance footage from businesses near the crash site has been requested to piece together a detailed timeline of the incident.

Machado emphasized that it is too early to draw conclusions, but the investigation is progressing and is expected to shed more light on the events in the coming days.
