A pilot has miraculously survived a dramatic helicopter crash during a training exercise, captured in shocking CCTV footage.
In the video, the Robinson R44 helicopter can be seen spinning wildly out of control as it approaches a hangar, where it attempts to land but instead collides with another helicopter parked nearby, according to NeedToKnow.

The impact sends rotor blades flying as the two helicopters become entangled. Eventually, the noise subsides as the Robinson slows to a halt.
Staff from the hangar rush to assist the pilot, who, though unnamed, was reportedly the only person aboard during the incident.
The crash occurred Sunday, October 27, at around 9:30 a.m. at Pearland Regional Airport in Texas.
Although emergency services arrived on the scene, Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that no medical treatment was required, and the pilot emerged unscathed.
The Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
