A Pennsylvania mother has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murders of her two children.
Lisa Snyder, 41, was convicted for the tragic deaths of her eight-year-old son, Connor, and four-year-old daughter, Brinley, who were found hanged in September 2019.
Snyder received two life sentences, according to VKNews24.
Prosecutors argued that Snyder attempted to shift the blame onto Connor, claiming he had expressed a desire to die due to bullying at school and “didn’t want to die alone.”
However, family members rejected this narrative, with the children’s 22-year-old brother, Owen, describing their mother as a “monster.”
Snyder reportedly called the police after discovering the children hanging in the basement, but prosecutors revealed that she had purchased the dog lead used in the crime just a day before the killings.
