According to reports, around 80 people were in the venue when the terrifying scene unfolded.
The shooting occurred in the early hours of Sunday, September 29, in Vallenar, located north of Santiago, Chile.
Four people—one woman and three men—sustained injuries.
One man was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
As of the latest update, he was still being treated for life-threatening wounds.
The shooter fled the scene before authorities arrived, as reported by VKNews24.
His identity remains unknown.
The injured victims include a Venezuelan man and three Chilean citizens, though their names have not been released.
At the time of the report, police had not made any arrests.
Local MP Sofía Cid commented: “The video of the nightclub attack in Vallenar is truly disturbing.
“But tragically, such events have become far too frequent both in this region and throughout the country.”
