Passengers were left in shock as flames erupted from an airplane engine during takeoff, capturing the dramatic moment on camera.
One passenger managed to record the frightening scene from their window seat, showing sparks and flames bursting from the right engine just as the aircraft gained speed along the runway.
After the alarming display, the plane remained halted on the tarmac, while thick smoke billowed from the engine.

The incident unfolded at Barcelona’s El Prat Airport on Friday afternoon, November 8.
The aircraft, operated by Vueling, was scheduled to fly a domestic route from Barcelona to Granada but suffered a technical issue just as it prepared to leave the ground.
All passengers were promptly evacuated and escorted back to the terminal as engineers inspected the engine.
Following an assessment, the plane was grounded and removed from service.
The affected travelers were placed on an alternative flight, which took off for Granada later that evening at approximately 8:45 p.m., according to reports from VKNews24.
A spokesperson from Vueling confirmed that the plane experienced a technical problem on the runway, though specific details regarding the cause have not been disclosed.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all passengers eventually arrived in Granada without further complications.
An investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the engine fire.
