The video shows the motorcyclist pulling up to the pump, where an attendant approaches to assist—a common practice at many petrol stations in the region.
The worker retrieves the pump handle and begins filling the motorcycle’s tank while chatting amicably with the driver.
However, the seemingly mundane scene takes a dramatic turn as sparks suddenly erupt from the handle, instantly igniting a fire.
Flames spread rapidly, engulfing the motorcycle and catching onto the rider.
In a desperate attempt to escape, the rider leaps off his bike and runs onto the road, frantically trying to extinguish the flames on his clothing.
Meanwhile, thick smoke and fire rise from the petrol pump, prompting other station employees to spring into action with fire extinguishers.
They quickly manage to control the blaze, preventing a potentially catastrophic situation at the station.
Once the flames are out, workers cautiously move the charred motorcycle away from the pump, revealing scorch marks, spilled petrol, and other debris left behind.
Remarkably, it was later reported that no one suffered serious injuries, and the station avoided significant material damage.
The dramatic incident, caught on camera, has since gained widespread attention online, highlighting the unforeseen dangers of even routine tasks.
