A propeller plane crash near a high school in Victoria, Texas, left four people injured after the aircraft made an emergency landing on a highway.
The incident, which occurred at around 3 p.m. on December 11, involved a 1981 Piper PA-31 twin-engine plane that touched down near a highway loop, scattering debris across Mockingbird Lane and the feeder road to the Zac Lentz Parkway.
The crash site was just outside Victoria East High School, and the plane struck three vehicles during its descent, causing significant damage.

According to local authorities, three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while a fourth individual required more intensive medical attention.
The pilot, who was alone aboard the plane, was unharmed and has not been publicly identified.
Deputy Police Chief Eline Moya expressed relief that the outcome was not more severe, emphasizing the rarity of such incidents.
“We are glad that it wasn’t worse than what it is,” she said.
“This is not something we see every day. But we are glad that people seem to be okay, and they are getting checked out.”
Footage captured the plane flying alarmingly low over the highway moments before landing and colliding with the vehicles.
Other images from the aftermath reveal the aircraft split in two alongside the mangled remains of several cars.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is launching an investigation into the crash to determine what caused the emergency landing.
Meanwhile, the area around the intersection remained cordoned off as authorities worked to clear the wreckage.
