Tragic incident is unfolding in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, where a young woman is believed to have been incinerated after climbing into a rubbish container following a night out.
Agostina Rubini Medina, 24, vanished in the early hours of October 3 after leaving her friends to catch a bus home.

However, she never made it onto the bus. Investigators now believe she climbed into a rubbish container near the bus stop.
Tragically, the container was emptied into a bin lorry shortly afterward, and the waste was transported to a local incineration plant.
Agostina is presumed to have died, as surviving the lorry’s compactor would have been impossible.
Forensic experts are now analyzing bone fragments found at the Son Reus waste incineration plant to confirm whether they belong to Agostina.
Her mobile phone’s last signals tracked her movement until it reached the plant, and a witness recalled seeing a bag with the blouse she had been wearing that night near the rubbish containers.
Police suspect she climbed into the container on her own, possibly to retrieve something. Ángel Ruiz, the police chief, explained that no foul play is suspected and that evidence points to a tragic accident.
“We believe she may have felt unwell inside the container, likely due to alcohol,” Ruiz said. “It’s easy enough to get out if needed, which makes us think she became unconscious.”
Agostina, originally from Argentina but living with her family in Palma Nova, Mallorca, had been studying Social Integration.
Her parents said she had been behaving normally the day before the incident, with no signs of distress or any arguments.
The search began with 12,000 tonnes of waste at the plant, and though the rubbish was incinerated at over 1,200 degrees for an hour, authorities are still hoping to recover some traces of her remains.
