A driver was left stunned after spotting an unexpected passenger—a monkey—swinging in the front seat of a Tesla Cybertruck.
Jaseel, on his way to work, was admiring the futuristic Cybertruck in the lane next to him when something caught his attention.
Filming the vehicle, his camera zoomed in on the window, where he was shocked to see a monkey casually perched on the passenger seat, swinging from the rearview mirror to the chair.

His surprise is evident in the video as he exclaims, “Bro, is that a monkey?” repeatedly.
Later, Jaseel shared the bizarre encounter on social media, where the clip quickly went viral, amassing over 5.3 million views.
Speaking to VKNews24, he recalled, “I was just checking out the car, thinking it looked super cool, almost holographic.
Then suddenly, I saw a monkey swinging in the front seat.”
The unusual sighting occurred on October 2 in Houston, Texas, and has since captivated TikTok users.
The video, humorously captioned, “Why is there a whole monkey in this Tesla truck?” has earned more than 1.1 million likes and sparked over 4,600 comments.
Reactions ranged from disbelief to amusement, with one user commenting, “I have so many questions,”
while another remarked, “When you have more money than sense.”
Interestingly, it is legal to own certain species of monkeys as pets in Texas.
According to PetHelpful, some types of New World monkeys, like marmosets and tamarins, are permitted, even critically endangered species like the cotton-topped tamarin.
Many of these animals are bred by licensed breeders, which may explain the unusual sighting.
