A wild boar was shot dead by police in Madrid after causing panic in the streets and injuring two officers.
Weighing around 19 stone (120 kg), the boar was hit with a tranquilizer dart but continued to wreak havoc.
The animal knocked over one police officer and bit another, who was later taken to the hospital for an anti-rabies vaccine.

The boar appeared in the Entrevías district on Saturday morning, October 19, prompting police to barricade streets in an effort to capture it.
In a dramatic video, the animal can be seen leaping over a car as bystanders gasped in shock.
The police used a drone to track the boar through the city. At one point, it made its way onto a platform at El Pozo railway station before entering the tracks, where it attacked two officers.
Despite attempts to capture the boar, it evaded capture for nearly two miles, eventually finding its way to a vacant plot of land.
Given the danger it posed, police were forced to shoot the animal to ensure the safety of the public, according to VKNews24.
