A mischievous monkey caused chaos in Varanasi, India, when it leapt onto a parked car and shattered its sunroof before darting away.

The unusual incident left Mukesh Jaiswal, the car’s owner, distraught as he surveyed the damage to his vehicle.

Adding to the irony, Jaiswal owns the very hotel the monkey had launched itself from in the first place.

The incident highlights an ongoing problem in Varanasi, located southeast of New Delhi, where monkeys have become a persistent nuisance for residents.

Despite efforts by the local forest department to relocate the animals, including regular campaigns to capture and remove them, these clever primates continue to roam urban areas, often causing mayhem.
