The alarming incident reportedly involved a young man suspected of being under the influence of psychedelic drugs, which can lead to disorientation, paranoia, and hallucinations.

Fellow passengers had to step in to assist the crew in restraining him.
Eventually, he was secured to his seat with rope to prevent further disturbances.
The flight, which departed from Taiwan and was en route to Bangkok, managed to land safely at Suvarnabhumi Airport despite the ordeal.
Upon landing, Thai police boarded the plane, where they were captured on video approaching the man, who had risen from his seat before being taken into custody.
Passengers reported that the visibly disoriented man repeatedly asked the officers, “Where are we?” He reportedly explained that he had been on a work trip and noted that the effects of the drugs had worn off by the time they landed.
The incident occurred on Thursday, December 19. Thai Airways has been contacted for comment but has yet to provide an official statement.
