An Amazon lorry driver caused chaos in a West London neighborhood after smashing through several metal bollards, a street sign, and a traffic diversion post on two residential roads.
The blue Amazon-branded HGV struggled to maneuver through the narrow streets, first knocking over a bollard and street name post on Osborne Road, leaving them flattened on the pavement.
The driver also clipped a traffic sign, leaving it dangling precariously over the road. Continuing on, the lorry hit two more bollards and a yellow road sign on nearby Whelan Road.

The incident, which occurred on 10 October in Acton, was caught on camera by a resident who witnessed the lorry causing damage not once but twice.

The footage has since sparked outrage among locals.
A spokesperson for the Litter Action Group for Ealing Residents commented on the situation: “This was witnessed by one of our members this morning.
We assume remedial actions are being taken. The driver must not have realized how unsuitable this road in Acton is for such a long vehicle.”
Residents criticized the driver for not handling the large vehicle appropriately on such narrow streets.
One local, Anthony McDonald, commented, “Over-reliant on sat navs. Large vehicles causing obstructions on unsuitable roads are becoming a regular occurrence.”

Others shared similar sentiments, with Sharon Bewley adding, “It seems as if the driver had no idea it was even happening.”
Another resident, Blake, dryly noted, “That’s three bollards and a post.”
Frustrated by the driver’s actions, Sean fumed: “C*ap driver,” while Steve added, “Imagine if that had been a cyclist instead of a bollard.”
Some, like Ciaran McGrath, took a lighter tone, joking, “He’ll get his time bonus at least,”

while Sam King defended the driver, saying, “This just proves truck drivers, bus drivers, car drivers, we are human.”
Amazon has been approached for comment regarding the incident.
