A DPD driver had his car stolen from a petrol station forecourt while paying for fuel.
The driver had just filled up his vehicle, which he used to deliver parcels, and went into the Londis shop at an Esso garage to pay.
However, he left the car running and unlocked, giving a thief the perfect opportunity to jump in and drive off with it.

The shocked driver, realizing what had happened, returned to the store and watched the entire incident unfold on the station’s CCTV cameras.
The theft occurred in Alperton, northwest London, at 5:53 p.m. on October 15, according to VKNews24.
One local expressed disbelief, saying, “Who the f*ck leaves the engine running.”
Another, named Nick, added sarcastically, “You left your car running, in a petrol station, in London. Genius.”
A third person commented on the consequences: “This is peak, because insurance won’t even cover him as he left his keys in the ignition unattended.”
Others chimed in, with one person saying, “This country is decaying by the minute,”
While another added, “Respect to the brother who tried to help the DPD driver out and look for his car.”
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for comment.
