A reckless driver in Liverpool has been heavily criticized after being spotted navigating snowy roads with their head hanging out of their car window, mimicking a scene from Jim Carrey’s 1994 comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
With their windscreen completely obscured by snow, the driver opted for a bizarre—and highly unsafe—method of visibility, leaving onlookers both amused and astonished.
The incident, which took place on January 9, was brought to light as parts of the UK remain under a blanket of snow, creating treacherous driving conditions.

A police spokesperson remarked, “Just when you think you’ve seen it all.
This vehicle was being driven exactly as seen in the picture, with the driver hanging out of the window Ace Ventura style.
We didn’t think it needed saying, but this is simply not acceptable, and the driver has been reported.”
The stunt quickly sparked outrage and ridicule online, with many locals questioning the driver’s logic.
One commenter, Lisa Keeble, expressed disbelief: “I can’t believe that.

Most Mercedes have a heated windscreen function.”
Another, poking fun at the absurdity, added, “Blimey, only in the UK would someone drive like they’re auditioning for the next Ace Ventura reboot.
Next time, mate, maybe just use the windscreen wipers, yeah?”
Others offered practical advice, emphasizing the simplicity of clearing a snow-covered windscreen.
Trevor Phillips chimed in: “Ice scraper, £3 in Tesco. The car has demisters too.

Takes 90 seconds to clear that.”
The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of preparing vehicles for winter weather.
Police and road safety groups continue to urge drivers to take extra care during icy conditions, ensuring all windows are properly cleared before setting off.
