As it navigates a turn, the sound of its propellers suddenly ceases, followed by a loud crash, as reported by vknews24.
Another clip shows a crowd of onlookers gathered along the riverbank, many appearing desperate to help.
A boat is seen circling the crash site, attempting to assist in rescue efforts.
Photographs from the aftermath reveal the severely damaged helicopter, which was later pulled from the water.
Its windows and propellers were missing, emphasizing the extent of the destruction.
The victims of the crash have been identified as Carlos Alvarez Arias and Estuardo González Barrios, both residents of Cubulco, Guatemala.
The incident occurred in the Chixoy River near Playa Grande Ixcan on the morning of December 29.
According to reports, the helicopter collided with overhead power cables before crashing into the river.
Local residents, along with rescue teams, immediately began searching the area, using boats to scour the water.
Tragically, they recovered the lifeless bodies of the two pilots from the crash site.
