Despite the swift arrival of firefighters, the blaze spread with relentless speed, adding to the growing chaos in the vicinity of the casino.

Authorities have confirmed that the fire, which erupted on January 16, was not deliberately set.

They have also stated that there were no fatalities, though the incident did result in three injuries.

Evacuations were carried out urgently, including the removal of people from neighboring buildings—one of which was a nursery school—to ensure everyone’s safety.

Two other individuals were treated at the scene after exhibiting symptoms of shock.

The fire occurred at the Royal Yak casino, located in the Plaza Cinépolis in Culiacán, a city northwest of Mexico City.

In addition to firefighters, personnel from Civil Protection were actively involved in managing the crisis and ensuring the area was secured.
