Mayor Pulls Man from Car and Attacks Him in Road Rage Incident
Polish mayor Jacek Zielinski attacked a man in a shocking road rage incident, leaving him with severe injuries. Caught on video, the brutal fight may cost him his job.

A mayor has been taken into police custody after allegedly dragging a man from his car and beating him in a violent road rage incident that left the victim with severe head injuries.
Jacek Zielinski, who serves as the mayor of Katów Rybackich, a village in Poland, was caught on video attacking an unidentified man after stopping his Audi.
The altercation, which took place on March 3 at around 9 a.m., was filmed by the victim’s wife and has since circulated widely.

The footage shows Zielinski rushing toward the couple’s Opel, pulling open the driver’s door—which was already slightly ajar—and yanking the man from the vehicle.
The two quickly became entangled in a physical struggle, briefly disappearing from view before the victim’s wife shifted her position to capture more of the confrontation.
As the scuffle continued, Zielinski can be seen firmly gripping the man’s jacket as they wrestled, ultimately falling to the ground.
They exchanged blows while attempting to stand back up, with the victim’s wife repeatedly shouting in distress, attempting to de-escalate the situation.
She particularly directed her frustration at the mayor, pleading with him to stop.
However, he appeared to disregard her as he retreated to his Audi, getting in through the passenger door.
The confrontation reportedly began after a woman driving Zielinski’s vehicle overtook the Opel in a manner the victim believed was dangerous.
He had pointed out the risky maneuver, which seemingly triggered the mayor’s explosive reaction.
According to local reports, the victim sustained serious head trauma, including a fractured skull, a broken jaw, and a lost tooth.
He is believed to still be hospitalized, recovering from his injuries.
Zielinski is currently being held at the District Police Headquarters in Nowy Dwór Gdański as authorities investigate the incident.
No formal charges have been announced yet, but the altercation has cast doubt over his future in office, with the possibility of his removal from his mayoral position.
Despite the evidence against him, Zielinski has insisted that he is the real victim in the altercation.
