Passenger assaults couple after argument with flight attendant

A tense confrontation erupted on a Hong Kong Airlines flight from Bali to Hong Kong when a passenger lashed out at a couple who had been arguing with a flight attendant while disembarking.

The incident, captured on video and shared online, shows a man angrily confronting the pair before taking a swing at the male passenger, who narrowly avoids the punch and walks away.

According to reports, tensions had been brewing throughout the flight, with the couple—who were traveling with their two children—displaying irritation over various issues.

Other passengers had noticed their frustration, and when the flight landed, things escalated further.

As they exited the aircraft, the couple reportedly began complaining about the slow pace of those in front of them and deliberately bumped into others, sparking a heated dispute.

The video shows the flight attendant attempting to manage the situation as the argument unfolds.

When she raises her voice at the couple, they appear to try to push past her.

At this point, a fellow passenger intervenes, shouting at them before aggressively swinging his arms in their direction.

Several other passengers step in to de-escalate the situation, and another man can be seen speaking to the couple in an effort to calm them down.

It remains unclear whether authorities became involved following the altercation, but online reactions were overwhelmingly critical of the couple’s behavior.

Many commenters condemned their actions, with some suggesting they should be blacklisted by airlines to prevent future disruptions.

One person remarked, “Airlines should blacklist them in order to avoid any delay or return because of them in the future,” while another added, “Now having a child seems to be a reason to lose your temper casually.”

The controversy surrounding the couple deepened as reports surfaced alleging they had insulted fellow passengers during the flight, referring to them as “garbage people.”
