Scooter rider miraculously survives after being hit by car and thrown through the air

A scooter rider in Lucknow, India, is fortunate to be alive after a terrifying crash that sent him flying through the air.

The dramatic accident, which took place on February 12 in the Indira Nagar area, was captured on a home security CCTV camera, showing the shocking moment of impact.

The collision occurred when the scooter, ridden by Abhijeet Srivastava, slammed head-on into a car that was pulling out at a junction.

Srivastava, who was reportedly speeding and not wearing a helmet, was thrown high into the air upon impact before crashing down onto the road.

Despite the force of the crash, he survived with injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital by his family.

Both the scooter and the car sustained significant damage, but police confirmed after reviewing the footage that the car was not exceeding the speed limit at the time of the accident.

Fortunately, Srivastava has since been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home.

Authorities at Indira Nagar police station confirmed that no formal complaint has been filed by either party involved in the crash.
