Travel Influencer Plunges to Her Death While Rock Climbing

Tragic Loss on Tryfan: The Story of Maria Eftimova
Maria Eftimova, a 28-year-old travel influencer and engineering student, tragically lost her life while climbing Tryfan, one of the highest and most dangerous mountain peaks in Snowdonia, Wales. Her untimely death has sent shockwaves through her community, friends, and followers, who remember her as a vibrant, ambitious, and adventurous soul. Eftimova was an experienced mountaineer, having recently completed an ice-climbing course in Norway, and had a deep passion for exploring the world’s natural beauty. Her loss has sparked an outpouring of tributes and support for her family during this incredibly difficult time.
The Deadly Allure of Tryfan Mountain
Tryfan, standing at 3,010 feet, is not only one of the highest peaks in the Eryri National Park but also one of the deadliest mountains in the United Kingdom. Its challenging terrain and unpredictable weather conditions make it a formidable climb, even for experienced adventurers. Tragically, Eftimova’s death occurred just six days after another woman, Dr. Charlotte Crook, fell to her death in the same area. The sheer risk associated with climbing Tryfan highlights the dangers of venturing into such remote and unforgiving landscapes.
