Trucker Scatters Bikers Like Bowling Pins After Wrong Turn
Chaos erupts in Manaus as a truck slams into traffic at a red light, toppling bikers and crushing vehicles in a shocking CCTV-captured pile-up.
A dramatic road mishap turned a busy junction into a scene of chaos when a truck driver in Manaus, Brazil ploughed into waiting traffic after misjudging a right turn.
Surveillance footage captured the moment the large goods vehicle attempted the turn but veered off course, crossing into the wrong lane and heading straight towards a line of vehicles stopped at a red light.
In a matter of seconds, what appeared to be a routine maneuver spiraled into a chain-reaction crash.

Several motorcyclists, sensing the imminent danger, managed to swerve out of the way just in time.
But others weren’t so lucky.
The truck slammed into a stationary car, pushing it forcefully into another vehicle in front.
The impact of the collision triggered a domino effect, with the two cars being shoved into a cluster of motorbikes, knocking riders off their seats and scattering them across the road in scenes eerily similar to a set of bowling pins being struck.
The aftermath was a chaotic pile-up involving multiple vehicles.
The sheer size and momentum of the lorry continued to displace several cars and bikes as it rumbled down the wrong lane before finally coming to a stop.
Some bikers were seen scrambling to their feet and sprinting away from the unfolding mayhem, visibly shaken but able to move on their own.
The incident took place on the morning of March 19 and sparked immediate confusion among eyewitnesses and first responders.
Conflicting accounts emerged in the hours that followed, with some suggesting the trucker may have simply lost control while navigating the turn, while others speculated a mechanical failure—possibly faulty brakes—was to blame for the runaway vehicle.
In the pile-up, one motorcycle became wedged beneath a car, while several others were knocked sideways or crushed.
Despite the severity of the crash and the number of vehicles involved—at least five cars and two motorbikes—miraculously, those caught up in the collision only suffered minor injuries, mostly limited to bruises and scrapes.
Their vehicles, however, bore the brunt of the impact, with visible dents, shattered parts, and in the case of one motorcycle, total destruction.
Emergency services arrived on the scene shortly after the crash to manage the disruption and clear the roadway.
Officials worked to restore order to the traffic system, which had been thrown into disarray by the unexpected and violent turn of events.
